Congratulations Palo Verde Women in Nuclear!

The U.S. WIN Professional Development Committee sponsored its first annual Professional Development Week contest between U.S. WIN chapters last September. The event delivered opportunities designed to help U.S. WIN members communicate with confidence via two live career development workshops on Resume Building and Behavior Based Interviewing. The Committee also partnered with FranklinCovey to deliver several on-demand web-based resources, including a recorded training on Change: Turn Uncertainty into Opportunity and a three-week pass to Jhana for Individuals, an online resource that delivers practical tools, such as videos and quick tips in 3-minutes or less.

Hundreds of U.S. WIN members took advantage of the live and virtual professional development events. The chapters were judged on the number of participating members and amount of time spent attending the interactive workshops and utilizing the on-demand web-based activities and resources.

Palo Verde Women in Nuclear is the recipient of the 2022 Professional Development Week Award with 36 members participating in the events for a total of 64 hours.
