WiN Global Competition to attend the August 2026 INMM Annual Meeting in Austin, TX

Submit your abstract by January 16, 2026 to enter the competition!

Dear WiN Global Members,

We are pleased to announce the launch of our competition to sponsor the participation of ONE WiN Global member in the 67th INMM Annual Meeting, to be held at the JW Marriott in Austin, Texas, USA, August 2-6, 2026.

Below are the requirements for participation and other relevant information. Please follow them carefully.

  • You need to be a WiN Global member to participate in this competition. If you are not yet a member, then join WiN Global here and identify a national chapter to join as well.
  • The age limit for this competition is 35 years of age by August 31, 2026 (evidence to be provided).
  • Please check out the details of the abstract requirements on the INMM website
  • Decide whether you want to choose an Oral Presentation (20 minutes), a Lightning Talk (10 minutes), or a Poster.
  • Strictly follow the INMM website instructions for content and format.
  • Abstracts that do not follow these requirements will NOT be considered!
  • Submit your abstract by Friday, January 16, 2026 to Eva Gyane, WiN Global Technical Leader, to the following email addresses: evagyane@gmail.com and groups@win-global.org (DO NOT submit the Abstract to the INMM!).
  • In the subject line of your email, put “Participation in the WiN Global 2026 INMM competition” and indicate with which chapter you are affiliated.
  • You will be informed whether your abstract was selected by January 28, 2026 so that you (the winner!) can then submit it to the INMM by the deadline on February 3, 2026.
  • If your application for this competition is not successful and you have other sources of funding, you can submit your abstract to the INMM after the publication of the results of this competition, by February 3, 2026.
  • WiN Global will provide a lump sum of a maximum of Euro 2,000, to cover the travel and hotel expenses. (Proof of payment will need to be provided by the winner.) Any expenses exceeding this lump sum will need to be borne by the winner.
  • Our partner, the INMM, has kindly offered their support by exempting the winner from paying the conference fee.

Based on our experience of running this competition over the past two years, you may want to observe the following tips:

  • Read the guidelines that need to be followed and pay close attention to them. If a template is required, then use it. If a certain font is prescribed, use that font. If there is a maximum length, then don’t exceed it. This will be the first things the WiN Global and INMM reviewers will be looking at, immediately discarding those abstracts that don’t follow the guidelines.
  • Take your time for preparing the abstract and don’t submit a sloppy abstract prepared in a rush or at the last minute. You are in a competition and only the best work will make it to the top.
  • Run a spell check once you are done, thereby avoiding spelling mistakes or incomplete sentences and improving the language of your abstract.
  • Ask a colleague or knowledgeable friend to read your abstract and provide you with constructive feedback, which may help you to further improve its quality.

We wish you a lot of success!
