Westinghouse Pittsburgh WIN Hosts Virtual Introduce a Girl to Engineering Event

The Westinghouse Pittsburgh Women in Nuclear chapter virtually hosted over 40 local high school female students for our annual “Introduce a Girl to Engineering” event! The event was held on November 10th and 12th. The traditional in-person event was adapted into a 2-day virtual event focused on promoting the future of nuclear energy, engineering careers, Q&A session with our own Westinghouse female engineers, and a LIVE demonstration of the new DADS system from the Westinghouse New Stanton facility!

One focus area of Westinghouse Pittsburgh WIN is to promote nuclear energy and technology through community outreach programs with local youth and schools. Our VISION is aimed at promoting the future of nuclear energy and technology through the advancement of women and men.
