NuScale Chapter of Women in Nuclear Holds Coat Drive Spanning Office Locations Nationwide

This past fall the NuScale Chapter of U.S. Women in Nuclear (WIN) hosted a coat drive. During this drive, employees had the opportunity to donate gently worn, ready-to-wear coats and outerwear (gloves, hats, scarfs, and sweaters) for adults and children who are in need through the organization One Warm Coat.

More than 400 coats and cold weather items were collected from various NuScale office locations nationwide the week prior to Thanksgiving. NuScale’s employees’ generosity from this event is a strong example of the company’s culture and community engagement by providing support to those less fortunate so that they are able to bundle up during this chilly time of year.  The NuScale WIN chapter is grateful for all of the employees’ warm hearts.

One Warm Coat is a national non-profit organization that works to provide a free, warm coat to any person in need. Coats are distributed within the communities where they were collected and provided to children, seniors and adults in need, without charge, discrimination or obligation.
