Better Together: NEXT23 Spring In-Person Session

The NEXT23 cohort is rounding out their year-long journey of personal growth and self-discovery that ultimately aims to support their climbs through the executive ranks in the nuclear industry. Since last July, this group has been growing together as a unit and building a sisterhood that supports each other’s personal and professional goals. This month, the team is headed to the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) in Atlanta, GA where they will meet with industry leaders and their companies’ Chief Nuclear Officers (CNOs) to discuss the state of nuclear and get a sneak peak of their capstone.

Each NEXT cohort drafts a concept that will provide support or resources for others looking to thrive in the executive ranks of the nuclear industry. So far, past NEXT cohorts have developed a Nuclear Leadership Website (NEXT20), the @NukeBoss Mentoring Moments videos on Instagram (NEXT21), and a Culture of Belonging Toolkit (NEXT22). NEXT23 is working hard to wrap up the final touches on their project and are preparing for the final pitch during this in-person session.

NEXT23 will graduate in July at the U.S. Women in Nuclear Conference in Scottsdale, AZ where their capstone project will be unveiled. This group of leaders in nuclear are well on their way to making great strides for themselves, and future women who want to see themselves in executive leadership positions.
