We’re going virtual!
Recent events have challenged us all and changed how we get together, do business and connect with one another. This is also true for the 2020 U.S. WIN Conference. After much deliberation and thoughtful consideration for our members health and travel abilities we have decided to transition the conference to a virtual platform.
While it is disappointing that we will not be able to get together this year, we also have an opportunity to be really creative in the event we do put on. We will be hosting the conference on the same days as planned, but will shorten the program to two half days. Please continue to save the date for July 27-28. Our initial plans will be to start the program later in the day to be mindful of the different time zones our members work in.
NEI will continue to support us in planning the event including providing the registration capabilities and hosting the event on a virtual conference platform. I look forward to providing you more details as they become available and I am interested in hearing your thoughts and feedback. Please check back on the U.S. WIN website, social media channels and NEI’s conference page.
Finally, I’d like to thank Dominion and Framatome for their commitment and support to hosting this year’s conference in Richmond, Virginia. While we can not visit this year, we do plan to return to Richmond to host the 2022 conference.
